Celli S.p.A (“Celli”), a portfolio company of Consilium SGR (“Consilium”), recently completed the sale of the majority stake to Ardian (“Ardian”).

Celli, an Italy-based leading manufacturer of beverage dispensing innovative equipment, announces the sale of its majority stake, previously owned by Consilium, to Ardian, a leading France-based private equity and asset management firm.

About Celli

Founded in Rimini in 1974 Celli is specialized in the design, production, testing and installation of innovative beverage dispensing solutions for beer producers including leading brands like Heineken, Carlsberg, Asahi, Molson Coors, Budweiser, soft drinks (including Coca-Cola and Pepsi) and water, by developing more sustainable solutions compared to the consumption of bottled beverages.

In its 45 years in business, Celli has evolved from a product-focused company to a leader in the supply of end-to-end solutions in the business of dispensing appliances for cold beverages. The growth of Celli Group took place both organically and by implementing a buy & build strategy, reaching a leadership position in its industry. With five production plants located in Italy and in the UK, the Group employs over 400 people.

About Consilium

Consilium is an independent asset manager fully dedicated to private equity focused on buy-out and development capital opportunities in small to medium-size Italian companies.
